Locations:
- Lucky Paws Adoption Center, at 675 Centennial Blvd.,
near the car wash in the Value Village shopping center. Lucky Paws is
open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Action Mower and Equipment Repair, 1245 Main Street, in
Springfield. Action Mower is open Monday through Friday from 9:30
AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturday, 10 AM to 12:30 PM.
WAG is excited to partner with the City of Springfield to provide $10
spay and neuter surgeries for cats owned by Springfield residents. Twice
monthly, WAG will schedule CatSnip Days for 15 Springfield cats.
Anyone who wishes to take advantage of this program must call the WAG
clinic at 541-345-3566 to make an appointment before registration. Please mention the CatSnip special.
For those who need transportation, pre-registration will be required and
the $10 non-refundable copay will be collected at the designated site. Cats must be dropped off
between 7:30-8:00 AM at the pre-registration site the morning of the
CatSnip Days. Cats will be available to be picked up from the same site
at 4:00-5:30 the same day. Individual cat carriers are required. If
necessary, cardboard carriers can be provided when registration is
completed.
If you do not require our transport, you may make your appointment for
any day other than a CatSnip Day, subject to availability; priority is
given to those needing transportation.
The City of Springfield needs public donations to fund their portion of
this project. Please support this effort to help reduce cat
overpopulation in Springfield. The success of this program will lead to
future partnership opportunities to improve the welfare of animals in
the community.
